Common Questions

How do I schedule an appointment?
You can easily book through our user-friendly online system. However, if you experience any difficulties, please feel free to reach out via our Contact Us form. A member of our team will call you back to schedule your appointment personally over the phone.
Do I need a referral?
Yes, a valid referral from a GP or specialist is required for all diagnostic imaging services to be eligible for Medicare rebates.
What do I need to bring with me
Kindly, you need to bring on the appointment day, your Medicare card and your original referral and previous scans including your previous reports.
Is there a cost?
Most scans are bulk billed for valid Medicare card holders. While obstetric ultrasounds will incur a private fee.

Payment Questions

What types of medical services does Wollondilly Radiology offer?
We strive to make our billing process as simple and transparent as possible:

Bulk Billing: We bulk bill most scans whenever possible to minimize costs for our patients.

Workers Compensation & CTP: We accept patients under Workers Compensation and CTP. Please ensure you bring your approval letter with you on the day of your appointment.

Payment Methods: For any scans requiring an out-of-pocket expense, we offer EFTPOS for your convenience.

Private Insurance: If you wish to claim your scan through private insurance, payment is required on the day of service. We will provide you with a digital invoice via email, which you can then submit to your provider for reimbursement.
